The Distrax™

in

Mandibular Widening by Distraction Osteogenesis A stable non-extraction technique

Custom distraction appliances
Using an innovative application of the Superscrew, Distrax™ takes leading edge technology out of research and into your practice. The original design, smaller size, and superior fit will give you increased patient acceptance and better results.

Distrax appliances are affordable
Distrax™ are an affordable alternative to other
distraction appliances on the market. If price has been an issue in recommending distraction for your patients, consider this: A Distrax™ midline appliance can be custom-made for as little as $200.00.

Custom made for each patient
You take the impression, x-rays, and complete the prescription form. Distrax™ appliances are then custom- made by certified dental technicians. Each Distrax™ comes complete – with no crowns to fit, and no extra clasps, wrenches, screws, or kits to purchase. The result? Less chairside time for the orthodontist and minimal adjustments for the oral surgeon.

Bone – Borne for more parallel regenerate
Only hybrid distraction appliances (tooth-borne and bone-borne) produce a parallel regenerate. With the Distrax’s™ unique design, the basal bone is distracted proportionate to the alveolar bone. Thus, it is expected that long-term stability will be greater. The unique features of the Distrax™ provide easy and simple patient use,as well as, precision monitoring by the orthodontist.
