Phase I Retainer

Used for mixed dentition cases, this appliance holds the permanent central and lateral incisors with a 2x2 bow and is clasped to the first molars with Adams clasps. The acrylic is relieved lingual to the C's, D's, and E's to allow for their exfoliation and the eruption of the permanent cuspids and first and second bicuspids.
